Rukie is a fashion designer and a full time photographer based in Abuja, Nigeria who founded Ruks à la mode in 2018. The brand has been on and off since then until I decided to try again in 2022 and have since been consistent. My goal is to provide quality & sustainable clothing for women without breaking the bank.

Ruks à la mode makes comfortable but chic clothing for women. When I started the business, it never was about making money off the clothes I make. I genuinely just wanted to make women happy in the clothes that we make. And this has made us never compromise on quality. A lot of our customers still wear pieces from years ago.

Policies

Our pieces are custom-made and not ready-to-wear, requiring at least 7 working days for production.
Orders are specifically and intentionally made for you, so they can not be cancelled once production has started. Please be certain before placing your order.
To place your order, send us a direct message on Instagram or a message via WhatsApp.
For urgent orders, contact us to check feasibility.
For some of our pieces, custom colours are available at an extra charge.
Please note that crepe fabric comes in different textures.
You can stockpile for up o 2 months.

Sizing & Measurement

As long as you provide the correct size, your outfits will fit perfectly.
Please refer to our size guide to confirm your size or provide accurate measurements in inches before placing your order.
If you are not sure of your size, you can send your exact measurements in inches to be safe (Waist, Hips, Bust, Length, etc.).
You can visit our store for measurements or pickup.

Delivery

Delivery fee is tentative and can change depending on the delivery company.
Delivery within Abuja: 1-2 working days.
Delivery outside Abuja (GIG doorstep or pickup with tracking): Standard: 3-5 working days, Express: 2-3 working days.
Delivery outside Nigeria (DHL express doorstep with tracking): 3-5 working days.
We offer delivery to every corner of the globe using DHL Express.
Once your order is sent out and we have sent tracking details, we have no control over delivery time or day.
If you would like to make changes to delivery details or have any issues with delivery, you can contact us to help reach out to the delivery company.
If you would like us to deliver using a different delivery company, let us know.
If the rider attempts delivery and you are not reachable, you might be required to pay for delivery again.

Return, Refund & Exchange

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase due to damage, bad quality, or if you were sent the wrong size from what you ordered, you are eligible for a return for an exchange or refund. We will cover the delivery cost in this scenario.
If there is a sizing issue, you might be charged an amendment fee, and you will cover the delivery costs.
Complaints must be reported within 48 hours of receiving the item.
Local refunds take 48 - 72 hours to process, and international refunds take 3-5 working days.

Opening Hours

Store opening hours: Monday - Saturday, 11 am to 5 pm.
Online opening hours: Monday - Saturday, 9 am to 9 pm.
