Valeria Ehizogie Lawani is the founder of Ehizogie Lawani.
A fashion designer from Nigeria, born on 26 October 1994 in Edo State and raised in Accra, Ghana.
She cultivated a strong passion for acting and fashion from an early age. She obtained her degree in Theatre Arts and Political Science from the esteemed University of Ghana.
Having lived in Accra for two decades, the city became the foundation of her fashion journey. It was here that she developed a strong appreciation for how clothes can express individuality and make a statement.
Her experience managing a retail store for three years contributed to her decision to start her own fashion line in December 2022.
Valeria took a break a year later as she continued to explore various creative mediums.
She enrolled in a sewing course, rebranded, and returned to Lagos in December 2024 to start afresh.

Ehizogie is an Edo name meaning "God's will" or "Destiny chooses a leader," reflecting the Edo people's deep connection to destiny and divine will.
Ehizogie Lawani is a Nigerian clothing brand that incorporates African traditional fabrics with international influences.
Local skilled artisans craft each piece.
