A Nigerian designer passionate about sustainability, founder and lead creative at the Budding blue brand, Budding blue RTWBYFIOLAKEMI, based in Lagos, Nigeria.
Olufolake Owodunni is a graduate of actuarial Science from the Prestigious University of Lagos, she also holds a diploma in mass communication from same
University.
In 2005 Olufolake Isiwele Owodunni followed her passion for fashion and styling, establishing the Budding Blue Brand, clothing and styling women of all ages and sizes aiming to make women beautiful and confident in their skin.
Olufolake Owodunni is big on sustainability, which forms the core of her designs while supporting local artisans, she majorly designs with aso-oke a woven high-end fabric from the western Yoruba speaking part of Nigeria and Adire a hand dyed fabric that has spanned generations and Popular in many parts of Nigeria like Osogbo, Abeokuta and the Kofa Mata dye pits in kano and this birthed the Zero Tolerance to Waste Policy at the Budding Blue Brand.
