I was Born May 1, 1987, I A Nigerian businesswoman and the CEO/Founder of the former ElanRed Store (A Unisex concept Store). Presently I’m the creative director and founder of Amarelis Atelier ( A fashion designing brand ), Yellow Kaftan (An Afro-centered summer style boutique), and co-building Rededit magazine.
I attended the University of Lagos, where I bagged a BSC in Biology Education; and later proceeded to study Fashion & Merchandising at the FIT (Fashion Institute), New York in a bid to pursue my passion in fashion.
After my Studies, I moved back to Nigeria, set up my brands, and have since then launched Fabulous Pieces, Hosted Pop-up Sales, worked with the creme-dela-creme in the industry, and also created a market for local designers to sell & advertise their products.
Amarelis
Amarelis is a women's wear brand that creates exquisitely crafted pieces inspired by the breathtaking beauty of nature. Coined from the Amaryllis flower, a unique flower that can thrive in any environment.
Each Amarelis collection is a love letter to the earth's landscapes, flowers, and shifting elements.
The brand's aesthetic combines these rich elements with cool earth tones and a nod to contemporary minimalism. Its founder is a designer with a Yoruba cultural background who has a profound appreciation for vibrant colors, rich textures, and the celebration of feminine energy. This fusion creates a distinct, coherent style, encompassing global inspirations and evoking the serene beauty of an endless summer evening watching the sun dip below the horizon.
