Adeola Adenipekun (Dee), is a Production Designer and Creative Director based in Lagos, Nigeria, working across film, music, brand campaigns, and fashion. Dee leads with vision, partnering with brands, artists, and other creatives to bring bold creative concepts to life.
As someone who doesn’t like to be boxed in and is always looking for new ways to express her artistic prowess, Dee has embarked on her newest
adventure as the founder and Chief Rebel of fashion brand Black Sheep the Label, a brand built on the simple belief that nothing about you is meant to blend in. Through the brand, Dee hopes to build a community of rebellious individuals who are guilty of being bold and unbothered.
Black Sheep the Label is a fashion brand built around boldness and audacity in self-expression. While our name carries the word “Black,” our
aesthetic is colourful and art-forward rather than dark or edgy. Our debut collection, Sweet Rebellion, features soft pastels as a gentle introduction to what is to come. But Black Sheep isn’t just about clothing. We’re for people who naturally stand out and aren’t afraid to take up space and be seen, as well as those who are finding their way out of the comfort of safe self-expression.
We are advocates for living authentically and believe everyone should feel confident and comfortable embracing their uniqueness, even when it goes against a perceived norm. That’s exactly how we want you to feel when you wear our pieces.
