Alexandra Obochi is the founder and creative director of NDIICHE, a Nigerian fashion label creating bold, culturally rooted pieces for people who dare to be seen. Through handcrafted garments, upcycling, and storytelling, she reimagines Igbo heritage for a new generation.
Ndiiche is an Igbo-inspired fashion brand rooted in heritage and sustainability. We reimagine indigenous craft practices such as batik dyeing and bead embellishment, combining them with repurposed textiles like denim and cotton. Each piece reflects a balance between tradition and modernity, transforming waste into garments that are meaningful, durable, and culturally resonant.
Our mission is to create inclusive, body-conscious fashion that celebrates African identity while advancing sustainable design. By preserving craft legacies and adapting them to contemporary contexts, Ndiiche extends the life of materials and offers an alternative to fast fashion. More than clothing, our work is a statement of resilience and creativity, presenting African fashion as both regenerative and globally competitive.
